Osaka JPN

In a musical concert in Osaka Japan Legend of Zelda Director took the opportunity to announce the HD revamp of Nintendo Wii’s Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword as confirmed by social media by those who attended the event:

Skyward Sword released on Wii as the premier Motion+ experience. The greater majority of gameplay mechanics revolve around use of motion controls: these include camera control with the Nunchuk and general hotkey actions and movement linked to the Wii Remote. With Nintendo Switch hardware they’ll improve quite a bit on the motion controls, making the remaster the true way to experience Skyward Sword. Skyward Sword only used gyro motion controls, no infra-red pointer inputs. The joy-con have much better gyro than the hardware within the Wii Remote.
